Songworks is Crouch End’s Community Choir
The Friends of the Parkland Walk are a voluntary organisation set up to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the Parkland Walk, to advance public knowledge of all aspects of the Walk and to facilitate opportunities for recreation and leisure time which are in the interests of social welfare and improving conditions for users of the walk.
The Crouch End Community Arts Festival is a community based project, run by volunteers and funded by local businesses and people, that celebrates local creativity and culture across the Crouch End, Hornsey & N8 area.
It is now the UK’s biggest community arts festival with over 200 performers, plus 9 schools, and hundreds of events, in over 80 venues.
The Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum is a group of local residents and businesses that have come together to develop a plan that will help inform and shape how the area will change over the coming years, and make sure the local community benefits from these changes. The group is now formally recognised by Haringey and and is in a position to start drafting the Crouch End Neighbourhood Plan. It is keen to attract more members and hear the thoughts, ideas and concerns of anyone with an interest in Crouch End.
Crouch End Open Studios event is an extremely popular fixture in the Crouch End cultural calendar; it attracts thousands of visitors over a long weekend in early May each year. Over 30 artists open their homes and studios, or exhibit in local venues, all walking distance from the Clocktower and HTH. Visitors can see the group exhibition and follow an art trail, getting to know their local artist/makers, viewing and buying their work.
Fizz and Ginger Films is a film company based in Crouch End and the building has been very important in various pieces of our work and an amazing focal point for the community, even letting us run a film festival, Skepto, that we helped bring over from Sardinia last year, which let us get local people involved as well.

London Farmers’ Markets seeks to increase farm incomes, and provide high quality local /seasonal foods to urban communities. We encourage sustainable methods of food production. We support traditional animal breeds and heritage fruit and vegetable varieties. We encourage Londoners to take a greater interest in food production and rural issues. We provide advice to farmers about what to grow, how to grow it, and how to market local produce.
